Our ideal candidate needs to have:

• University degree in telecommunications or computer engineering with strong telecommunications background • Fluency in English (both written and verbal) • Basic knowledge of IP networks, deeper knowledge of SMPP and S57 (SIGTRAN, SCCP, MAP) protocols • Experience in LINUX (RHEL)/UNIX system operations • Basic programming skirts • Mobile operator background / Relevant work experience (operations of SMS hub, SMS-C, STP) • Ability to produce accurate results under high pressure • Good communication and analytical skills • Ability to work in the team, but also independently • Market and customer oriented way of thinking and attitude, result oriented mindset

Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for operation and maintenance of SMS hub and other signalling services • Maintaining availability of Core and Enterprise Transport Network services, handling customer establishment/requests and complaints at a high level of service quality • Investigating network faults • Managing system and service related problems and escalations • Reporting and tracking of faults towards vendors • Implementing expansions and configuration changes • Introducing new features for SMS hub domain and other signalling network domains, services, connecting new network elements and SW releases, validation of test reports provided by vendor • Participating in testing of new software releases, features • Supporting implementations in connected domains
