Biografija

Rođen je 1974. godine u Beogradu. Elektrotehnički fakultet u Beogradu upisao je 1993. godine a diplomirao 1999. godine. Završio je postdiplomske studije na istom fakultetu na smeru Digitalni prenos informacija. Magistarsku tezu pod naslovom „Adaptivni prostorno vremenski kodovi“ odbranio je maja 2004. godine. Doktorsku disertaciju pod naslovom „Prilog određivanju dinamičkih karakteristika adaptivnih višeantenskih sistema i njihova primena na izbor efikasnih zaštitnih kodova“ odbranio je marta 2008. godine.

Godine 2001, zaposlio se kao asistent-pripravnik na Elektrotehničkom fakultetu u Beogradu, gde je 2005. godine biran u zvanje asistenta, 2008. godine u zvanje docenta a 2013. godine u zvanje vanrednog profesora. Trenutno obavlja funkciju prodekana za nastavu na Elektrotehničkom fakultetu u Beogradu.

Držao je nastavu iz većeg broja predmeta na osnovnim i master akademskim studijama: Teorija informacija i kodovi u telekomunikacijama, Statistička teorija telekomunikacija, Principi modernih telekomunikacija i Osnovi telekomunikacija. Navedene predmete držao je na odseku za telekomuniakcije, odseku za računarsku tehniku i informatiku, odseku za elektroniku, odseku za signale i sisteme, odseku za fizičku elektroniku (u okviru studijskog programa Elektrotehnika i računarstvo) i na studijskom programu Softversko inženjerstvo. Na doktorskim akademskim studijama drži predavanja iz dva predmeta: Slučajni procesi u telekomunikacijama i Savremene tehnike kontrole grešaka u telekomunikacijama. 

U toku svog dosadašnjeg rada objavio je veći broj radova iz oblasti teorije informacija, statističke teorije telekomunikacija i bežičnih telekomunikacija. Autor je tri udžbenika i dva praktikuma za laboratorijske vežbe. Prema podacima sa sajta Google Scholar ukupan broj citata je 315 (h-indeks je 10), pri čemu je veći broj radova citiran u međunarodnim časopisima sa SCI liste i doktorskim disertacijama odbranjenim u inostranstvu.

Kao prvi od tri koautora, dobio je nagradu „Ilija Stojanović“, koju dodeljuje fondacija kompanije Telenor, za najbolje radove objavljene u međunarodnom časopisu u 2008. godini. Radovi kandidata nagrađivani su na konferencijama ETRAN i TELFOR. 

Bio je član programskog odbora na dve konferencije međunarodnog značaja. U prethodnih deset godina bio je recenzent više desetina radova objavljenih u vodećim časopisima iz oblasti telekomunikacija. Član je međunarodnog udruženja inženjera elektrotehnike (IEEE), u zvanju Senior Member.

Njegove oblasti interesovanja su teorija informacija, kodovi za prenos i zapis, statistička teorija telekomunikacija, slučajni procesi u telekomunikacijama, digitalne telekomunikacije, algoritmi za dinamičku optimizaciju.
